Quarles, Contract Specialist, (202) 324-2975 The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a sole source, non-personal consultant services contract with Cyril Gamber. This contract will provide institutional knowledge, expertise, and investigative techniques to investigators in medicare/medicaid fraud that will meet FBI standards and legally assist the United States Attorney's Office with investigations and prosecutions. The contractor must have background qualifications in medicare/medicaid cost reporting, accounting, and trial preparation. Place of performance is Tampa, FL, or sites throughout the State of Florida where consulation is required. Travel expenses will be borne by the contractor, and will be reimbursed pursuant to Federal Travel Regulations. This will be a labor hours type contract with fixed rates for a base period of five (5) months with an option to renew for one additional year. It is estimated that 1200 work hours will be required for this requirement. This is a small business-small purchase set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 8999, and the size standard is based on gross receipts of $5 million dollars. A secret level security clearance is required. Based on a market research, it has been determined that this is the only source to meet the FBI's requirement. Interested persons able to meet the requirement are invited to identify their interest and capability by submitting a proposal to include technical qualifications and experiences/pricing and any other information which shows a bonafide ability to meet this requirement within 45 calendar days of this publication. If no affirmative responses are received within this time to determine that a qualified source more advantageous to the Government is available, a contract will be placed with the above-named vendor.
