Notice of intent to modify Contract N00244-96-D-0086 with DynCorp, Norco Division, Norco, CA to provide additional engineering, technical, operational and ancillary services. The modification will add hours as follows: 164,324 to the current year (Option Yr 2); 229,892 to Option Yr 3; 229,892 to Option Yr 4 and 115,097 to year 5. To be negotiated under other than full and open competition IAW FAR 6.302-1. The services are required for existing support in the coordination of tactical training exercises involving scheduling, data collection, information resource management and software development. The services must be performed on an uninterrupted basis to preclude disruption of the combined efforts among the Navy, Air Force, Army and Marines Corps. Due to need for continuity of the services, DynCorp is the only source with the essential expertise specific to the effort and possessing the necessary resources required to perform the complete task.
