Work included but is not limited to general demolition of existing area, which shall include removal of interior metals studs and drywall, metal lath and plaster walls, hollow metal doors and frames; raised computer floor system and vinyl floor tile with asbestos; interior windows and acoustical ceiling/grid; air conditioning units, HVAC ducting and reheat boxes and controls; diffusers and fire protection; electrical power, signal and lighting; plumbing; abandoned fire extinguishing system and encapsulating of asbestos containing material on structural steel tursses. All work shall be performed at the San Diego VA Medical Center in accordance with the specifications and drawings. The cost range is between $100,000.00 to $250, 000.00. Firm Fixed Price Contract. FOB is destination.SIC 1542. The proposed contract is a 100-percent Small Business Set-Aside. Pre-bid Conference shall be held on or about April 14, 1998 at the San Diego VA Medical Center.
