Hawkins (410)997-6256 The contract resulting from this solicitation will include repair and alteration type projects at various postal owned and leased facilities located in the geographical areas of the Cleveland, OH district area including the following counties: Lorain, Cuyahoga, Lake, Ashtabula, Summit, and Geauga. At the discretion of the Contracting Officer, one or more contracts may be awarded. Contractors must have a minimum of three (3) years experience as of the date of issue in general construction work. Contractors must also possess the capabilities of working at least three to five jobs at the same time. Specific Work Order/s will be issued totaling not less than $10,000 nor more than $250,000 during a two (2) year period of the contract. The initial limit of $250,000 may be increased by modification as agreed upon by the Contractor and the Contracting Officer up to the maximum of $3,000,000. The Postal Service guarantees no specific number of Work Orders nor specific amount. The contractor will not be requiredto perform work under any work order where the value of work in any one building is less than $2,000. Offerors will be required to submit one (1) "Multiplier" to be applied to the various Unit Prices established in the "Unit Price Schedule." The multiplier must contain the Offeror's overhead, profit, bonds, insurance, and all other contigincies. No allowance for such items will be made after contract award. Packages will be available on or about March 19, 1998, at $50.00 per set, Non-refundable, referencing Solicitation #232098-98-A-0038. Make checks/money orders payable to USPS Disbursing Officer.
