The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a Cost Plus Fixed Fee Contract for Phase II AIM-9X flight test integration with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC) P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516, the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the F/A-18 aircraft. MDC is the only known firm possessing the adequate existing facilities, tooling, and special test equipment to perform this requirement in a timely manner.
