USDA, OCFO, National Finance Center (NFC) located in New Orleans, LA intends to issue a solicitation to obtain contractor support service for twenty-four (24) hours of continuous on-site maintenance support for the Pitney Bowes R608-9 Series Inserting machines for approximately nine days. The inserting machines have been customized by the Pitney Bowes Company for the NFC. In addition to maintaining the machinery, the contractor will be required to provide operators and general support personnel (performing shift work) for operating the machinery. Period of performance is semiannual during the month of May and November for the base year with the option to renew services for an additional four (4) years. Interested parties may provide information on their capabilities to maintain and operate the machinery. In order to be considered, respondents must submit clear and convincing documentation of their capability. References (phone numbers and contact people) are required. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. If no affirmative written responses are received with the time indicated, a contract will be placed with Pitney BOwes without further notice.
