48 -- HIGH PERFORMANCE VALVES SOL 1425-98-SQ-30-00022 DUE 040398 POC Kay Beck, 702-293-8516; FAX 702-293-8050 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 1425-98-SQ-30-00022 is issued as a request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for Small Bushiness-Small Purchase Set-Aside (100%). Standard Industrial Classification is 3491 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The Bureau of Reclamation has a firm fixed price requirement for the following items: 1. Twenty (20) 10-inch high performance butterfly valves (ANSI Class 150, Single Flange, Lugged Body, 316 Stainless Steel Body and Disk, 316 Stainless or 17-4SS Stainless Steel Shaft, RTFE Seats, and including handwheel operator); (2) Two (2) 12-inch high performance butterfly valves (ANSI Class, 150 Single flange, Lugged Body, 316 Stainless Steel Body and Disk, 316 SS or 17-4SS Stainless Steel Shaft, RTFE Seats, including handwheel gear operator; (3) Two (2) 14-inch high performance butterfly valves (ANSI Class 150, Single Flange, Lugged Body, 316 Stainless Steel Body and Disk, 316 SS or 17-4SS Stainless Steel Shaft, RTFE Seats, including handwheel gear operator; (4) Two (2) 8-inch, 300 Pound Full Port Ball Valve (Flanged, 316 Stainless Steel Body, Ball, and Stem, RTFE Seat, TFE Seal, including handwheel gear operator. All valves shall comply with all applicable parts of MSS, API, and ANSI standards, including MSS-SP-67; MSS-SP-68; API 609, ANSI B16.34, and MSS-SP-25. All items to be made in USA by domestic manufacturer. Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and transportation necessary to deliver the items to Bureau of Reclamation, Hoover Dam Warehouse, Highway 93, Boulder City, NV 89005.
