The government intends to procure the following requirement as a sole source acquisition from MacNeal-Schwendler Corporation, 2975 Redhill Avenue, Costa Mesa, CA 92626: MSC/NASTRAN includes basic, unlimited model size, nonlinear statics and transient, heat transfer, dynamic response and DMAP, Aeroelasticity I and II, MSC/PATRAN, IGES Access and maintenance on the products listed above. These items will be used by the Structures Branch for on-site analysis of data allowing for unlimited model size and multiple boundary conditions as well as providing an Aeroelastic Solutions Module. No RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. This award will be issued on the basis of other than full and open competition, in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 as state requirements can only be satisfied by the manufacturer of these item.
