The Defense Logisitics Support Command/DLSC (formerly Defense Logisitics Agency/DLA) launched an expanded Internet based Electronic Mall, known as the DLSC EMALL on January 29, 1998. Through the EMALL, all military customers and other authorized users can search for an order spare parts and other needed logistics support items more conveniently and quickly. DLSC's EMALL customers will be able to search for their requirements and place orders for items that are in DLSC stock or directly from vendors who are participating in the EMALL. Defense Supply Center Richmond seeks vendors to participate to include their items into the EMALL. Vendors should meet the following criteria: 1. Currently sell commercial items which are routinely purchased by DLSC and DLSC's major customers (Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps). 2. The items sold to DLSC's major customers, should be listed in catalogs of commercial items sold in substantial quantities to the general public. 3. In exchange for obtaining visibility to DLSC's worldwide customer market, be prepared to offer discounts on items sold through the EMALL.
