Y -- DEMOLITION OF EAST CONSTRUCTION DIKE, CHARLESTON HARBOR, CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC SOL DACW60-98-B-0007 DUE 051498 POC Contract Specialist Yolanda Brown-Grant (803) 727-4249 (Site Code DACW60) Demolition of the existing East Dike, located in the Cooper River off the southern tip of Daniel Island at about Station 400+00 of the Charleston Harbor channel. The work site is located in Charleston, South Carolina. The work extracting approximately 1050 linear feet of steel sheet pile wall, batter piles, and wales. Piles were originally driven to depths ranging from -17 to -52 feet below mean low water. Approximately 2500 tons of riprap placed along side the wall and in the cellular sheet pile end structure are also to be removed under this contract. All materials from the demolition work are to be disposed of at approved disposal sites. (0075)
