designed using the metric system. The project consists of intermittent
emergency flood damage repair at 16 sites on four routes. Project
includes: construction survey & staking; construction scheduling;
contractor sampling & testing; 620 metric ton minor asphalt concrete;
1.8 hectare clearing & grubbing; concrete headwall for 1,950mm culvert
and 2,700mm culvert; 4,500 metric ton crushed aggregate; 272 meters
culverts; 250 meter underdrain; 23,000 cubic meter roadway excavation;
12,000 cubic meter rock borrow; 800 sq meter earthwork geotextiles; 50
meter guardrail; 374 sq meter geogrid retaining wall; 410 sq meter
rockery retaining wall; 1,300 cu meter class 6 keyed riprap; 200 cu
meter class 5 placed riprap; 10 meter guardrail removal; 200 hrs
flaggers; 1,500 meter pavement markings; 2 slry units seeding &
mulching; 1,600 sq meter mulch blanket; and other smaller items of
work. This project is located approximately 15 miles north of Gold
Beach, Oregon. Work shall be completed by July 31,1999. Estimated price
range is between $1,000,000 and 2,500,000. Presolicitation Notices are
being provided to firms on this agency's mailing list concurrently

The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital
financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts.
DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and

Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable.
