In general, the work includes the surface preparation of approximately 67,336 square feet of aircraft hangar floor, repairing approximately 3,840 square feet of rigid pavement, resealing approximately 75 hundred linear feet of joints in rigid pavement, and application of aircraft hangar flooring system, (primer, self-smoothing slurry coat, nonskid finish, grout for nonskid finish, intermediate and top coat, and striping). The contractor shall be required to phase the work so as not to place more than 50% of the aircraft hangar floor out of service at one time. The estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Estimated bid opening date is May 1998.
