The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst requires 5 each Computer Memory Loader Master Memory Board P/N 32-229788-04 and 5 each Computer Memory Loader Master Memory Board P/N 32-229788-07, which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Litton Applied Technology, 4747 Hellyer Ave., San Jose, CA 95138-1001. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only supplier of these Master Memory Boards because as the designer, developer, and manufacturer of the AN/ALR-66(V) series of electronic countermeasures systems, Litton is the only source with the technical data and software necessary to produce the Master Memory Boards required for AN/ALR-66 (V)3 memory loading. The Master Memory Boards are used to load operation flight programs into the AN/ALR-66C(V)3 system used on the P-3 Aircraft. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responses received within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. (0075)
