71 -- INSTALL NEW GOVERNMENT OWNED FURNITURE SOL 516-048-98 DUE 042398 POC Connie Springs, Contracting Officer (813) 398-9375 Furnish all labor, tools, equipment, vehicles, supplies and supervision to move from storage, deliver, assemble and install new Government owned furniture at the VA Regional Office located at 9500 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, FL. Solicitation will be issued as a Commercial Item Procurement. FAR Clauses 52.212-1, 212-3, 212-4 and 212-5 apply. Contractor will be responsible for moving the furniture from its current location to the Regional Office, unpacking the furniture, assembling the furniture and placing the furniture as directed. The Contractor will be required to submit a letter from the furniture manufacturer, Richard Wilcox, that recognizes the Contractor as an acceptable representative of Richard Wilcox with the necessary skills to properly install and service the furniture in such a way that the warranty will be maintained. The Contractor must also have previous experience in assembling Crown, Corel, Trendway and Gunlocke (BT Ginns) furniture. Solicitations will be issued on/or about March 27,1998 with the proposals due on/or about April 23, 1998. This is a total small business set aside.
