Dreger, Contracting Officer, (850)234-4863 This is a Sources Sought Synopsis for Universities and/or firms with the capabilities and experience to conduct a Summer Camp Program at Coastal Systems Station for co-ed youth ranging from approximately 6 to 15 years of age. Interested sources must provide written evidence of their experience and ability to provide a) A Program Director who is a University Faculty Representative with grading authority, Recipient of a Master of Arts/Sciences or Doctorate in Parks and Recreation or related field, has University status as a Professor or Assistant Professor, has experience as a Youth Camp Director at camps in excess of 150 children, and has a minimum of two years experience developing programs in the recreational/leisure services field; b) A Project Coordinator who is a University Faculty Representative with grading authority, a candidate for a Master of Arts/Sciences in Parks and Recreation or related field, and experience as a Day Camp Supervisor/Manager; c) A Day Camp Director who is a recipient of a Bachelor of Arts/Sciences in Parks and Recreation/Leisure Services/Physical Education, and has experience as a Camp Director or Assistant Camp Director at camps in excess of 80 children; and, d) Camp Counselors who are Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate Level Students majoring in Recreation, Leisure Services, Physical Education or related major, have demonstrated skills suitable for camp leadership, and have experience in day camp, resident camp, or educational setting. Only currently known sources or those sources with demonstrated requisite experience/capabilities who respond to this synopsis will be considered for future solicitation.
