Services required Oct 1998 thru Sep 2003. Responses are only sought from firms currently certified in the SBA 8(a) program for SIC 4225. Firms must be able to provide 60,000 SF single story, high bay (20 ft vertical clearance) warehouse located within 15 road miles of the Pentagon Reservation. Facility proposed may be in Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, DC. Offeror must demonstrate ability to manage automated inventory system tracking up to 20,000 line items, have local delivery (expediter) capability, and be able to provide $20 million insurance on warehouse and contents. The Govt will provide most racking and similar storage equipment plus most MHE. If affirmative response is not received from at least two fully qualified 8(a) firms within ten days of this notice, acquisition will proceed under full and open competitive conditions.
