The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, supplies, equipment and supervision necessary to repair 160' long bowstring wooden trusses in five hangars, hangars 201, 204, 205, 208 and 211. All trusses will have the splice plates wrapped with high strength steel metal ribbons. Stitch bolts shall be installed in the bearing filler plate at each end of each truss. In two of the hangars, hangars 205 and 208, members of various trusses shall be replaced. In one hangar, 205, the door truss shall be reshaped and lifted into a positive camber position. This work will be located at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. The total performance period for this project is 120 calendar days. The magnitude of this project is expected to be between $100,000 to $250,000.
