The Naval Air Systems Command intends to enter into a contract with Kaman Aerospace Corporation, Bloomfield, Connecticut (KAC) to assist in the integration of ten (10) AQS-18A dipping sonar systems onto the SH-2G(E) Super Seasprite helicopter's 1553 data buss, resulting in automated display of contact information on the ASN-150 tactical navigation system. The KAC effort will include writing the integration ECP, installing 1553 data bus wiring between the AQS-18A and the ASN-150, and Flight Test. Additionally, KAC will update SH-2G(E) engineering drawings and aircraft maintenance manuals. KAC is the sole designer and producer of the SH-2G(E) and is the only company with the requisite knowledge and skills necessary to perform this integration. Note 22. (0077)
