The RIX model 2JS4B-150 is a commercial off-the shelf item within the definition of FAR Part 12. This action is not suitable for full and open competition due to the following reasons: The NAVSEA Diving Equipment Authorized for Navy Use (ANU) List specifies that only equipment cited in the document may be used by the fleet. The RIX compressor model 2JS4B-150 is the only compressor on the list that has the required SCFM. RIX Industries is the only supplier that can furnish the required compressor. Note 22 applies.
