The proposed contract and offer requirements will be described in a solicitation which will be released by KSC, see below. Complete operating characteristics will be described in the specification. The sets will consist of the following deliverables: 1. PowerPC(Motorola PN MVME2604 or equal) -- 225 units with indefinite requirements for 310 additional. 2. Single Board Computer Transition Module -- 225 units with indefinite requirements for 310 additional 3. PMC Expansion Module (Motorola PN PMCSPAN-001 or equal) -- 120 units with indefinite requirements for 160 additional 4. PMC Ethernet Module (Motorola PN MPMC202 or equal) -- 225 units with indefinite requirements for 310 additional 5. Real Time Interface Bulkhead Panel with cables -- 120 with with indefinite requirements for 160 additional 6. VxWorks target License for Single Board Computers -- 225 with with indefinite requirements for 310 additional 7. PMC Ethernet Module Driver License -- 225 units with indefinite requirements for 310 additional 8. VxWorks Board Support Package for Single Board Computers 9. Documentation for Hardware and Software (Motorola Part Numbers V2600A/UM, V2600A/PG, VME 761A/UM, PPCBUGA1/UM, V2600DIAA/UM or equal) 10. Hardware Maintenance for all delivered hardware 11. Software Maintenance for all delivered software A preproduction delivery of the above items will be required for review. Delivery of initial quantities of items 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, and 11, will be 6/22/98. Indefinite delivery items will be available from 10/1/98 through 9/30/00 and will be delivered 45 days after receipt of order. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and specifically FAR subpart 13.6 -- Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. As stated previously, the Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. The Government intends to use "Best-Value" to the Government as the selection criteria. The anticipated release date of RFO10-98-0033 is on or about March 31, 1998 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about April 15, 1998.
