This is a Market Survey to locate parties interested in acquiring OMNI III Spec AN/AVS-6 (ANVIS) Image Intensifier Tubes, NSN 5855-01-380-5096. A total of over 5,000 tubes from ARMY supply are currently available. The original sources for these tubes were ITT Industries Inc., Roanoke, VA, who produced them under contract #DAABO793CK005 and Litton Systems INC, Tempe, AZ, who produced them under contract #DAABO793CK006. The tubes were produced during 1992-1996 timeframe, met the OMNI III specification at time of acceptance, and have since been in storage. Interested parties will be required to propose the number of units desired, a purchase price for same, and the intended use of the tubes. If a purchase agreement is reached, the offeror will be responsible for acceptance screening at the delivery point. Once accepted at the delivery point, the Government will not be responsible for any future performance criteria and there will be no warranty for same. The response must include the number of units requested, the purchase price offered for same, the intended use of the tubes, and the required delivery address. The image intensifier tubes are export controlled via the Dept of State under the ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations) CCL (Commodity Control List). The tubes are controlled for national security (NS) reasons and are subject to export or re-export restrictions.
