Burks, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-5021 The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) plans to contract with TPL, Inc., Albuquerque, NM for further development to fabricate and evaluate high energy wound film capacitors based on a TPL polymer/paper dielectric. This effort also includes fabrication of the necessary dielectric films, limited optimization of the dielectric film to support capacitor fabrication requirements, and limited small scale compatibility testing of impregnated fluids and the dielectric film. DSWA believes that TPL, Inc. is the only responsible source that has the experience in place to conduct the continuing effort in the time required. See Note 22.
