Shea.Joanne@epamail.epa.gov. The Environmental Protection Agency has a
requirement for air monitoring equipment and services for Ambient Air
Monitoring on Northwest Tribal Lands. This is a contemplated sole
source acquisition to Airmetrics, 225 North 5th, Suite 501,
Springfield, Oregon 97477. Airmetrics is the only known source from
which to acquire the Mini-VOL Portable Samplers, and to perform
upgrades, maintenance and training on this equipment. The sampler has
the following mix of features: lightweight, portable, weatherproof,
rugged, capable of 24+hours operation on a single battery charge
(rechargeable), DC or AC power adaptable, remote and variable operation
mode programmable, multi-pollutant sampling capable, capable of
separate, sequential or simultaneous whole-air and/or filter sampling
for one or more pollutants, dynamic flow-control. This solicitation is
issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) and is a combined
synopsis/solicitation. The statement of work is available upon request.
The following FAR clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1
(Instructions to Offerors Commercial), 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and
Conditions Items), 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to
Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items).
Simplified Acquisition procedures will be used. The Statement of Work
includes: 1)Purchase of 25 each Mini-Vol Samplers and related parts,
2)Equipment Maintenance and Repair Services, 3)Training Services for
the following tribes (but not limited too) Umatilla, Warm Springs,
Colville, Quinault, 4)Shipping, Receiving, Inventory and Reporting
Services. Bids must be submitted no later than 5:00pm PST on March 30,
