AZ DUE 042098 POC Kevin Kearney, Contracting Officer, (415) 522-3178 The General Services Administration, Public Building Service is establishing a list of interested firms for possible work at the Nogales (Mariposa) Commercial Port of Entry in Southern Arizona. The work may include civil, structural, traffic engineering and/or architectural disciplines. The procedure in FAR 36.602-5, Short selection process for contracts not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold ($100,000) will be used to select firms as projects are developed and funds become available. The list will be utilized for one calendar year, beginning May 4, 1998. Firms must have an active office and professional practice within the following counties in the state of Arizona: Santa Cruz, Pima, Cochise, Pinal and Maricopa. When and if projects are approved and funded, actual selection of firms will be based on the following criteria: 1. Professional qualifications; 2. Specialized experience; 3. Capacity to perform the work in the time available; 4. Past performance; 5. Location and proximity to the project and customer. SF254/255's are due within 30 days from the date of publication.
