This work will be accomplished in accordance with the provisions of the work specifications identified in Section C of the solicitation. This will be a one-year requirements type contract with 4 one-year options. The applicable items and Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ) are as follows: CLIN 0001, NSN 2840-00-224-4131RV, P/N 584890, TF33 Cage and Valve, 1st year 60 ea, 2nd year, 60 ea, 3rd year 78 ea, 4th year 61 ea, & 5th year 60 ea. CLIN 0002, NSN 2915-00-778-9093RV, P/N 544296, TF33 Cage & Valve, 1st year 170 ea, 2nd year 202 ea, 3rd year 208 ea, 4th year 206 ea & 5th year 200 ea. The cage and valve assy consists of matching parts; the plate and valve which is approximately 1/4 inch in diameter by 6 inches long containing multiple grooves at specific locations; the sleeve and cage is approximately 3 inches in diameter by 3 inches long with a sleeve consisting of 2 screen sections extending from the center approximately 5/8 inch diameter by 2 inches long. The repair consists of manufacturing certain replacement parts as well as honing and grinding and testing the repaired assets prior to finishing. There is no Government Furnished Tooling. Deliveries are to Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. This solicitation will be issued to the only pre-qualified sources: Turbine Controls Inc, Bloomfield CT and to Hamilton Standard Division, Windsor Locks CT. This repair solicitation will be issued on or about 31 March 1998 and the closing date will be on or about 01 May 1998.
