and materials to perform dockside and repairs for USCGC MARIPOSA (WLB
397), a180' bouy tender, home moorage is Seattle, Washington. All work
will be peformed at cutter's home moorage during the period of July 13,
1998 and completing September 04, 1998. Work items to include: bulwark
repairs, fuel lube and waste oil tank clean and inspection, sewage
tank cleaning and inspection, ships office deck repair, cargo hatch
replacement, boom shack preservation, port main propulsion generator
commutator repair, starboard propulsion generator brushes and brush
holder replacement, propulsion shaft thrust bearing, stern seal, and
pedestal bearing overhaul, electric motor overhaul, main propulsion
motor cable replacement, heat exchanger cleaning and inspection, vent
duct cleaning, cargo hoisting gear LVL2 overhaul inspect and test,
ground tackle overhual and test, warping capstan overhaul, allied
D5000CT signal point davit overhaul, SEAARC davit screw assembly
overhaul, marinite panel removal, wardroom preservation, engine room
bilge preservation, bouy deck preservation deck covering replacement,
repair and resealing, temporary services. The solicitation is issued in
accordance with the Small Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All
