COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MARCH 20,1998 PSA#2056

U.S. COMPUTER INDUSTRY TRADE MISSION TO CHINA Are you looking to expand your sales in Greater China's* robust $12 billion computer market? If so, the 1998 U.S. Computer Industry Trade Mission to China is your ticket to making the contacts, gaining the market exposure, and signing the deals you need to succeed in the world's fastest growing major computer market. The mission will be the first of its kind since 1995 and will coincide with two major trade shows, Computer 98 in Hong Kong and Computer and Networks Expo 98 in Shanghai. **Making the Key Business Contacts You Need** Whether you're new to the market or an old hand, U.S. Government sponsored trade missions can help you make the business and government contacts necessary to succeed in China. Through our embassy and consulates throughout China, we will make one-on-one business meetings tailored to your market objectives. We will also arrange for several business receptions at which you can meet prospective business partners and key decision makers in a relaxed setting. **Enhancing Your Company's Image and Recognition** U.S. Government trade missions can greatly enhance your company's status with Chinese government and industry officials. Mission delegates will receive publicity in advance of the trip and at each stop in China through Chinese-language press releases, press conferences and interviews, and other promotional vehicles. In addition, Business & Industrial Trade Fairs Ltd. in Hong Kong and InfoEx Services in Shanghai, two of Asia's best show organizers, will conduct advance publicity of the mission and its delegates and help ensure that the event receives significant attention in China. **Free Listing in USA Virtual Pavilion on ChinaNet** As an added benefit, we will list your company profile in Chinese on CyberExpo, one of China's premiere business Web sites. Join the American Electronics Association, the Telecommunications Industry Association, the U.S. Information Technology Office, and dozens of select U.S. IT companies on what is quickly becoming the hottest business-related information source on ChinaNet. **Save Money and Time by Leaving the Advance Work to Us** Highly-trained staff with industry expertise in Washington, DC, and China will provide advance and on-site support. We arrange for in-country transportation between stops, in-country market briefings, business receptions, one-on-one business meetings, and site visits are arranged in advance. We can also assist with locating qualified translators and hotel accommodations. Our goal is to make your trip to China as efficient and effective as possible. **Cost and Deadline Information** The cost of participating in the trade mission is $5,000 per company for the entire trip. Additional representatives may be sent for an additional fee of $1,000. You may also choose to go to a selection of cities on the mission schedule for a reduced price (e.g. Hong Kong only costs $1,750). All application materials must be received by April 3, 1998. Companies that have already been accepted as U.S. Delegates include Dynamic Communications, LATIC Communications, PowerQuest, and Telestar Corp.
