NASA/SSC intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a 200 KW Generator Retrofit and Automatic Transfer Switch, Building 1110. Project consists of the Modification and retrofit of one (1) existing Generator's control system to enable generator auto start capabilities upon loss of commercial power signal, and exhaust system discharge through overhead roofing. Roof shall be at least 3,050 millimeters above finished concrete. All work shall be in accordance with Specification No. 200BF-GE03 and Drawings, Document No. V1, S1 & S2, and E1 through E3 which will be provided separately to those firms requesting a copy of the solicitation. Performance Period is 120 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The estimated price ranges is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be released as soon as practicable whether prior or subsequent to April 2, 1998 with quotations due on or about April 23, 1998.
