The Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office (Midwest) proposes to procure 2 travel trailers, maximum weight of 3,800 pounds with a minimum length of 17 feet and a tent (fold down) camper, maximum weight 1,500 pounds with a minimum trailer length (open) of 21 feet. The Marine Corps will offer 30 feet Gulf-Stream Conquest travel trailers for exchange, exchange will be made at the option of the Government. Funds are not presently available for the purchase without exchange option. This purchase qualifies to be processed using the simplified acquisition procedures and the award will be based on price and price related factors. The Standard Industrial Code and size standard is 5561/500 employees. The RFQ issue date is on or about 2 April 98 with quotes due on or about 17 April 98.
