20375 35 -- PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE ON TOXIC GAS ALARM SYSTEM SOL

(202) 404-8158. Naval Research Laboratory intends to solicit and
negotiate only with Zellweger Analytics Incorporated to procure
preventative maintenance/calibration for toxic gas alarm system. System
is located in BLDG 208 & A-11 at the Naval Research Laboratory, 4555
Overlook Avenue, S.W. Washington DC. Contractor will provide one field
service engineer for thirteen one day calls per year. One day call
every four weeks to perform tape changes and preventative maintenance
on four systems 16's. One field service engineer for one day per call
for two calls per year to calibrate thirty points of hydrogen sensors.
Calls will be made in conjunction with two of the thirteen maintenance
calls. These two calls will be spaced at six month intervals so that
sensors will be calibrated twice per year. One field service engineer
for one day per call for up to three emergency calls per year,
emergency calls will be made with a response time of twenty-four hours
or less. Parts are not included, however a 15% discount on all parts
used during preventative maintenance calls, emergency service calls,
and instruments sent to Zellweger Analytics for repair will be
provided. Any hydrogen sensor replacement for instance will be billed
separately. Hydrogen calibration gas, as well as internal filters and
belts, will be supplied by the contractor. <All calls including
emergency calls will be made on weekdays. There will be an extra charge
for any calls made on holiday and/or weekends> A one year supply of
chemcassettes consisting of (for BLDG. 208 & A-11: BLDG. 208; LP
Hydride chemcassettes for two analyzer heads, LP chlorine chemcassettes
for one analyzer head, LP ammonia chemcassettes for one analyzer head,
LP mineral acids chemcassettes for one analyzer head. BLDG. A-11; LP
hydride chemcassettes for one analyzer head, These will be supplied
during each service call and includes one set of each, to be left on
site during the first service call as backups for any emergencies;
Contractor will be responsible for rotating the stock on these
emergency backup chemcassettes. Contract will be in effect for one year
