U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for a contractor to
provide two (2) lots of Automated (softcopy) Aerotriangulation (AT) and
Digital Orthophoto (DOQ) Production Systems, including operation
demonstration, training, and warranty. As no funds are available for
this equipment, the USGS wishes to acquire this replacement equipment
with a potential exchange/trade-in of eight (8) existing Intergraph
InterMap Analytic (IMA) Systems. The condition of the trade-in
equipment ranges from good to excellent, with most being excellent. The
USGS is aware that responses to this RFP are unpredictable and may
result in a greater or lesser value than anticipated. In the event of
no acceptable offers and/or negotiations being unsuccessful, the USGS
reserves the right not to enter into the equipment exchange. Delivery
shall be FOB Destination to Denver, CO. Interested firms should respond
in writing prior to April 24, 1998, requesting a copy of RFP No.
98-CR-SS-1006. No telephone requests. Only written requests submitted
by the requestor will be accepted. Requests may be submitted by FAX to
the attention of Jane L. Conniff at (303) 236-2710. All responsible
sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. RFP has a
tentative issues date of April 8, 1998 with a tentative closing date of
