The Naval Construction Battalion Center intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Knoll Inc., Knoll Textile Div., 1150 18th Street N.W., Washington, D.C. 20036 for 946 YD upholstery fabric to be used on Danko chairs and footstools purchased under GSA Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract. The selection of the fabric was based on wear classification (exceeds 132,000 double rubs), 100% Codura Nylon with Teflon soil and stain repellent, and the pattern (K334 Planet Earth) and color(s) (#2 Strawberry & #6 Ocean) which were selected to help hide soiling as well as compliment and coordinate with all finished and fabrics used in the space.
