Park, Contracting Officer,301-227-1121 FAX 301-227-1847 The Carderock
Division Naval Surface Warfare Center has a requirement for a general
purpose PC-based structural test control system with distributed
processing capabilities to perform multi-channels, synchronized and
independent tests in any combination. The Control System must be a
"turn-key" system of proven design with state of the art features as
well as provide flexibility to meet various test requirements.
Sophisticated hardware and software techniques must be used to satisfy
a variety of loading configurations from single axis static test to
more complex tests such as multi-axis fatigue cycle simulations. As
such, the Control System must be capable of Proportional,Integral and
Derivative (PID) control with real-time adaptive tuning to eliminate
cross coupling effects between control channels. As a minimum, the
contractor shall provide a complete, integrated control and data
aquisition system with all the necessary hardware and software for
digital closed loop control of thirty two servo-hydraulic linear
actuators. Loop closure shall be accomplished with digital servo
controllers for both load and displacement control. A detailed copy of
the solicitation may be requested in writing via FAX to the POC above.
