PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: Provide all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, management, and materials to maintain Military Family Housing (MFH). Services to be provided include general maintenance and repair of interior/exterior of all MFH units; change of occupancy maintenance; installed equipment maintenance (HVAC); the moving, handling, repair, and replacement of household appliances; operation and management of self-help store for MFH residents; routine and emergency service calls; equipment and supply inventory; and maintenance of facility files. Contract will also require some grounds maintenance for unoccupied/previously unoccupied units(mowing grass, trimming plants/shrubs etc...). MFH services also include major interior/exterior painting, wood floor refinishing/replacement, replacment of sheet resilient flooring, termite damage repair, pest control, roof repair, carpet cleaning, and emergency response services. The contract period will be for a total of five years (basic period plus 4 one-year options). This project is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC)Code is 8744 and the corresponding size standard is $5.0 Million (gross revenues averaged over last three years). The Request for Proposal will be issued on or aobut 13 Apr 98. This is a negotiated procurement and award will be made to the proposal considered the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered.
