717-770-7107 The Defense Distribution Depot San Diego (DDDC) located in
San Diego, CA has a requirement for the procurement of a conveyor
system. This requirement shall include all the necessary services,
labor, and material to furnish, test, and make operable
upgrades/enhancements to an existing mechanized material handling
system. The upgrades shall include package conveyors, associated
conveyor components, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and
associated components. All work will be performed and the system
installed in the Induction and Receipt Processing Area, located in
Building 3304. The system is used to transport material to/from various
inspection/receipt processing lines and transport material to storage.
The work shall be scheduled to minimize the disruption of normal
operations. The Contractor shall remove the existing conveyors that are
being replaced. The equipment is to be removed, palletized and
relocated to an area as directed by the Government. This acquisition is
unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall
