Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington, D. C. intends to issue an Invitation for Bid for Fire and Life Safety Advisory Services. The contractor will be required to conduct fire and life safety audits and inspections, perform tests to insure proper operation of fire protection and suppression equipment, conduct fire and life safety training and provide recommendations to the Director of Security. As a minimum, the contractor shall have a minimum of 15 years of fire department training and experience and have attained a supervisory and/or command position. The anticipated contract will be for a base year with four option periods that could extend performance of the contract for a total of 60 months. This procurement will be a Total Small Business Set-aside. The SIC Code is 8999. Size standard $5.0 M applies. Expected effort is 1 person for 30 to 40 hours maximum, per week.
