1998 NATIONAL SPACE & MISSILE MATERIALS SYMPOSIUM The 1998 National Space & Missile Materials Symposium will be held at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado on October 19 -- 22. This year's theme is Space Materials & Processes for the 21st Century and is tri-service and NASA sponsored. Sessions will include: Reentry and Hypersonics; Launch and Propulsion Systems; Vehicle Structures and Cryotanks; System Sustainment; Survivability; and Spacecraft and Payloads.
