There are options for four additional years of services. Offerors shall submit price for base year and optional years. Base year is from April 6, 1998 to September 30, 1998; Option period I is from October 1, 1998 to September 30, 1999; Option period II is from October 1, 1999 to September 30, 2000; Option period III is from October 1, 2000 to September 30, 2001; Option period IV is from October 1, 2001 to September 30, 2002. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items, is applicable. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). Offeror must submit a completed copy of provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its proposal. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items is applicable to this acquisition. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions, Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
