The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Western Ecology Division, Corvallis, Oregon intends to issue an RFQ for full-service landscape management and maintenance services at government-owned facilities located at 200 SW 35th Street and 1350 SE Goodnight Avenue, Corvallis, Oregon. The contractor will be required to perform this support with staff experienced in landscape management and maintenance of large facilities, not simply lawn care. The facility at 200 SW 3th Street has twelve buildings located on a 10-acre site, with approximately three acres for lawn, tree and shrub service surrounded by Oregon State University. The facility at 1350 SE Goodnight Avenue, which is approximately four miles from the 200 SW 35th Street site, has eight buildings on 10 acres, with approximately three acres for lawn, tree, and shrub service in a rural setting. The contractor will be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and management to provide landscape maintenance services at both locations. Services include lawnmowing and thatch removal; tree and shrub pruning, debris removal; application of bark dust in landscaped areas; weed and insect pest control in lawn and landscaped areas; application of fertilizers and pesticides provided by the contractor as required and approved by the Project Officer; and parking lot and sidewalk sweeping. Irrigation will be the responsibility of the US EPA. The US EPA anticipates awarding a fixed-price purchase order. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside with the applicable SIC code of 0781 with a size standard of $5M in average annual receipts over the preceding three fiscal years.
