The Federal Bureau of Prisons is soliciting bids for preliminary site development for a United States Penitentiary, Warehouse complex, Federal Work Camp, parking areas, and roadways to be constructed near Pennington Gap, Virginia. This package consists of, but it is not limited to: removal of soil; blasting & excavation of rock; crushing, placement & compaction of rock & soil; installation of storm drainage; management of construction operations, etc. The time for completion for all related work is 245 calendar days after notice to proceed. The successful bidder will be required to furnish all labor, material, equipment, and services to complete this project on time. The estimated price range of this work is greater than $10,000,000.00.
