The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-96-G-0087 with Hughes Defense Communications Company, Fort Wayne, Indiana (doing business as Raytheon Systems Company), to bring existing P-3C aircraft AN/APS-137 Radar Display Panels (P/N 812183-803) up to the currently improved design Control Display Terminals (P/N 817252-801) by repairing, upgrading, restoring and altering such equipment. Hughes Defense Communications Company was the original equipment manufacturer of these Display Panels and is the only known source for possessing the knowledge, expertise, experience and drawings necessary to perform this upgrade within the needed time frame. The Administrative Contracting Officer will be conducting the negotiations for this effort. (0082)
