A -- RODENT AND MONKEY TESTING FOR NIDA MEDICATION DISCOVERY PROGRAMS SOL N01DA-8-8088 DUE 052698 POC Dale Weiss, Contracting Officer, 301-443-1301 The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations having in-house capability to perform in vivo rotent and primate pharmacology studies of potential pharmacotherapies for opiate dependence and other drug dependence disorders. The Contractor will be blinded to the identity of proprietary test compounds, the compounds will be evaluated in established assays, and the resulting data will be utilized by the NIDA Medications Development Division. The successful offeror must indicate possession of current DEA registration for Schedule II-V substances prior to award and apply for Schedule I registration. NIDA anticipates that 1 four-year contract, with options for additional supplies and labor hours will result from this procurement.
