The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program Office intends to negotiate and award a sole-source contract to Rolls Royce Aircraft Engines Limited, P.O. Box 3, Filton, Bristol, United Kingdom, BS12 7QE for the design and construction of a sub-scale model of a grated pit hover facility, and for the testing of this model to determine its effectiveness at reducing the inlet temperature rise due to hot gas ingestion of the JSF STOVL Concept Demonstrator Aircraft (CDA).
