is not a request for proposal. Market Research is being conducted on
Material Support Division (MSD) Repair for B1B Master Interconnect
Assembly, NSN: 5998-01-209-1539EK, P/N: 14340-507- 1. The MIA provides
all interconnection between the external Serial Digital Multiplex
assembly (SDMA) connectors, Electronic Modules and Power Supply
Modules. The functional theory is the electronic module processes data
received from and sent to the external circuitry. This is for a depot
repair contract on line replaceable units of the B-1B Aircraft system,
consisting of one interface board and connectors. Inspection and
cleaning procedures are referenced in TO 00-25-234 and repairs in TO
5F27-3-3, Chapter 5. This MIA will be repaired and tested at a
contractors facility and then shipped to supply or Main Operating Bases
(MOB). The repair consists of incoming testing/evaluation, cleaning,
replacement of one to eleven connectors if found bad, and final testing
to verify it functions properly. The contract will be a government
furnished material (GFM) and contractor acquired property (CAP). The
contractor is required to submit reports on the following: Parts
Approval Request, Tear Down Deficiency Report, GFM Transaction Report
(G009), and Maintenance Data Collection Report. Any sources interested
