SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston is soliciting information from potential
sources for systems engineering, technical, installation, and logistics
support of various Department of Defense C4I systems and programs. This
requirement is for management, requirement analysis, systems
engineering and analysis, installation, logistics, maintenance,
operations, and training support of Joint and Navy C4I systems.
Successful performance of this support will require knowledge,
understanding and experience with the design, development,
installation, support, operations and training for C4I systems which
include: Local and Wide Area Networks including SIPRNET, NIPRNET, and
DISN; tactical systems including JMCIS, JMCIS 98, and GCCS; Video
teleconferencing technology; COMSEC devices including KIV-7, KG-94,
FastLane, and other cryptographic equipment; and communications
technology and protocols including RF systems, ETHERNET, and ATM. An
indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity Time and Material task order
contract is anticipated. The period of performance will be for a
12-month base period and four one-year options. The Government
anticipates a potential level of effort of 1,963,165 labor hours over
a 60 month period. Primary place of performance will be in Norfolk, VA,
and Charleston, SC; however, performance may be required in any area
there is a military presents. Firms having the required specialized
experience with the above systems and capabilities necessary to meet or
exceed the stated requirements are invited to submit appropriate
documentation, literature, brochures, and references. Responses shall

(1) name and address of firm, (2) size of business: average annual
revenue for the past 3 years and number of employees, (3) ownership:
Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), and/or Woman-Owned; (4) number
of years in business; (5) two points of contact: name, title, phone,
fax and email; (6) DUNS Number (if available); (7) affiliate
information: parent corporation, joint venture partners, potential
teaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) or subcontractors
(if potential prime); (8) a list of customers covering the past 5
years: highlight relevant work including a summary of work performed,
contract number, contract type, dollar value for each customer
reference, and customer point of contact with phone number. THIS
SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A
SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED
