COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MARCH 25,1998 PSA#205999 -- AIRCRAFT SURVIVABILITY SYMPOSIUM The National Defense Industrial
Association's Combat Survivability Division is sponsoring an Aircraft
Survivability Symposium in cooperation with the American Institute of
Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Joint Technical Coordinating Group
on Aircraft Survivability. The Symposium will be held on August 18-20,
1998 at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. The
symposium will provide a forum for advancing ideas that will enhance
aircraft combat survivability through the complementary application of
Low Observabales and Countermeasures technologies. This event will
expand on the 1996 symposium, "The impact of Low Observable Technology
on Aircraft Survivability." The sysposium will examine the
methodologies used, and the challenges inherent in developing and
fielding fully integrated LO/CM systems. It will enhance the attendee's
understanding of Low Observable and Electronic Warfare concepts,
technologies, and programs as they impact the survivability, cost and
overall mission effectiveness of combat aircraft. The symposium will
feature presentations by senior industry executives and government
policy makers, technical papers by noted experts from industry and
government, panel discussions, poster sessions as a forum for
additional technical presentations, and exhibits of related hardware,
software and technical information. For more information contact NDIA
