4TH ANNUAL HAMPTON/NORFOLK REGIONAL SMALL BUSINESS PROCUREMENT FAIR, NETWORKING BREAKFAST, SEMINAR, AND COUNSELING EXPO 4th ANNUAL HAMPTON/NORFOLK REGIONAL SMALL BUSINESS PROCUREMENT FAIR, NETWORKING BREAKFAST, SEMINAR, AND COUNSELING EXPO TUESDAY, MARCH 31, 1998 On Tuesday, March 31, 1998, this annual event is once again coming to the Virginia Tidewater area! Held at the Norfolk Naval Base Officers' Club and hosted and counseled by 14 area military facilities: Fort Eustis-Chief Contracting Division, Fort Monroe-Director, OSDBU, NASA Langley Research Center- Industry Assistance Office, Naval Security Group Activity- Deputy for Small Business, Contracting Office, Naval Facilities Engineering Command- Director, Architect & Engineering Construction, FISC-NORFOLK- Deputy for Small Business, Langley AFB,-Air Combat Command- Director of Small Business, Fort Lee-U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command-Director of Contracting, OSDBU, Norfolk-U.S. Corps of Engineers-Chief, Policy Branch and SADBU, Portsmouth-SUPSHIP Conversion and Repair- Contracting Specialist, Defense General Supply Center (DLA)- Associate Director of Small Business, Small Business Administration-Richmond- Assistant District Director, Williamsburg Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce. The day will start with a government/corporate networking breakfast with two special quest speakers: 9:00 a.m. "Contracting as an Enabler" with speaker Captain Lawrence E. Vadala, SC, USN, Executive Director for Procurement, Defense Supply Center Richmond, and at 9:30 a.m. "Customer Liaison: A Blueprint for Success" with speaker Ms. Linda Gallaher, Customer Liaison Representative, FISC Norfolk Acquisition Group Hampton Roads Detachment. Then at 10:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. there will be plenty of time to visit the DoD SADBU Counseling Tables to ask questions and receive FREE literature on each agency. There will also be time to view the over 55 corporate exhibit table displays. The day will end with the Awarding of Simplified Acquisitions under $25,000 for those agencies who wish to participate.
