The HQ, Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC) has a requirement for services to provide the full range of Official and Leisure travel services for 10 regions representing all of CONUS as outlined below: Defense Travel Region A (DTR A): WA, OR, ID, MT, WY; (DTR B): NV, CA, HI; (DTR C): UT, CO, KS, AZ, NM, OK; (DTR D): TX, LA; (DTR E): AR, MS, TN, AL; (DTR F): FL, Panama, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico; (DTR G): GA, SC, NC; (DTR H): 20 locations in the Washington DC, Northern VA and Southern MD; (DTR I): OH, WV, VA, MD; and (DTR J): NH, VT, ME, MA, CT, NJ, DE, PA, NY. The Government anticipates award of multiple Firm Fixed Price Requirements Contracts. The Contract Base Period is anticipated to be June 1, 1998 -- May 31,1999, with eight, six month options with release of the solicitation on or about April 3, 1998. A pre-proposal conference will not be held. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Highlights of the services to be offered by the contractor are as follows:issuance and delivery of tickets for travel; placement of confirmed reservations i.e. ship, bus, train, plane, lodging and car; support for emergency and short-notice requirements; and courteous and responsive customer service. This requirement may be partially set-aside for small business concerns. The determination to partially set-aside for small business concerns is solely within the discretion of the Government and will be made based on the information received from small business concerns. All responsible small business sources need to provide the Contracting Officer, a statement of their capability to reconcile a centrally billed account, information regarding past performance and prior experience, and the size, scope and complexity of current and past travel service contracts.
