exchange data via the Allied Command Europe Weather Exchange Software.
The United States Air Force in Europe (USAFE) is procuring software to
manipulate the data. The software shall be able to run on a WINDOWS NT
Pentium PC/Laptop. It must be able to process standard World
Meteorological Organization data including radar, Alpha/Numeric,
satellite and lightning data. The software must also be able to send
and receive data. The software will be used throughout the European
theater. The anticipated order date for this firm fixed price action is
04 May 98. The software must be installed and fully operational no
later than 01 Jun 98. A three year period of performance is
anticipated. The issuance of a noncompetitive order to the United
Kingdom Meteorological Office is anticipicated based on the need to
ensure interoperability, training exchange and software
standardization. All responsible sources, however, may submit a
