Department of Energy/Albany Research Center (DOE/ALRC) generates
various waste streams as a result of research programs being conducted
at the facility. 2. SCOPE OF WORK: (2.1) The contractor shall furnish
all labor, materials, transportation, and tools necessary for the
proper identification, treatment and/or disposal of the waste material
located at ALRC. In performing this service, the contractor shall
comply with all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations
regarding the receipt, transportation, treatment, storage and disposal
of the waste materials including but not limited to: 2.1.1) Resource
Conservation and Recovery Act (PL 94-580; 42 U.S.C. 3251). 2.1.2) Code
of Federal Regulations, 40 CFR 260, d. Seq. 2.1.3) Hazardous Material
Transportation Act (PL 93-633; 49 U.S.C. 1801). 2.1.4) Department of
Transportation Regulations; 49 CFR Parts 171-189 (Subchapter C,
Hazardous Materials Regulations, Chapter 1, Subtitle B of Title 49 of
the Code of Regulations). 2.1.5) State of Oregon Administrative Rules
(OAR), including OAR 340-101-033 (special Oregon-only hazardous
wastes), and OAR 340-102-0111 (hazardous waste determination
requirements). 2,1,6) State Hazardous Waste Disposal Requirements,
particularly with the laws, rules, and regulations of that state in
which the disposal site is or will be located. 3. A Request for
Quotation (RFQ) will be issued for identification, treatment, and/or
disposal of wastes materials at the U.S. Department of Energy/Albany
Research Center located in Albany, Oregon. Address where services will

1450 Queen Avenue SW, Albany, Oregon 97321. 4. A full Statement of Work
(SOW), quantity, Attachments A and B to be provided with the request
